A homeowner had taken buildings and contents insurance with Hiscox and, when an issue was found with a septic tank, half expected the insurer to try and wriggle out of the agreement to avoid having to deal with the claim. The opposite was the case in actual fact, as the insurer did everything it could to make sure their client was well looked after and the situation was resolved as quickly as possible.

Even when the bill grew larger as the full extent of the problem became clear Hiscox were there to take away the stress, providing both financial support as well as handling the pressures that can come with such a problem.
