Nationwide Building Society Says Insure Against April Showers
Published: 13/10/08
The famous April showers are prompting the Nationwide Building Society to advise customers to be prepared, since the ingress of water to the home can have devastating consequences.
None of us expects to be affected by water damage or any other problem, but they do happen, which is why many of us have home insurance in place, to cover the effects of damage to property. The Nationwide Building Society would like everyone to have insurance in place, whether with them or a different provider. They just feel it is vital to have it in place since there are many occasions where the costs are more than many people can manage, making insurance the only way to recover the loss.
As a spokesman from the Nationwide Building Society said, the bad weather of the last few months will hopefully make people realize how random incidents can be and that home insurance really is an essential item.
