Homeowners need to include the contents from the wardrobe on the policy

Published: 18/11/09

Liverpool Victoria house insurance is telling homeowners don’t forget about including the contents from your wardrobe in your home contents insurance evaluation.

Homeowners when entering their contents will include electronic items and jewellery but do forget include clothes that are in the wardrobe.

A study has found that the average valuation of a wardrobe was £1,840 and that many homeowners will just guess the value and put about £1,470.

Don’t under insure your contents as you could end up loose much more if you needed to make a claim on your contents policy.
