Abbey National Insurance Division Reports We Are Real Worriers
Published: 06/10/08
A new study carried out by Abbey National, their insurance division more specifically, has found that the average Briton will spend over 25 hours each week worrying about things.
The main subjects we find ourselves worrying about are property, possessions and money. This amount of worrying has not been helped by the recent downturn in house prices and a struggling economy. These factors cause people to feel more concerned than ever about their situation. This may go some way to explaining why there has been an upturn in sales of Abbey National mortgage repayment protection.
An Abbey National spokesman expressed concern at the amount of time Britons spend worrying, urging us all to find ways to remove some of these worries so we are a little more relaxed. This appears to be what the buyers of the mortgage repayment protection packages are doing.
